A catch-all email mailbox receives email messages sent to inactive addresses under the very same domain. For instance, a message sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. Thus, you can get email messages from acquaintances or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a typographical error or to an outdated one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some point you may start receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction implies that the spam will not be redirected to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

In case you have a Linux cloud hosting with us and you want to enable the catch-all option for a specific email mailbox that you’ve got in the web hosting account, it will take literally only one click of the mouse in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel to do that. A catch-all button is available to the right of each email address that you have created under any domain name hosted in your account. You can choose one address per domain name by clicking on the respective button. This will enable the feature straight away, so all email messages sent to miswritten email addresses will be received there. Clicking on the button once again will disable the catch-all feature. If you have enabled email forwarding, our system will display a warning notice and you won’t be able to activate the catch-all feature till you deactivate the forwarding or you can simply pick a different mailbox to be the catch-all one.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than a click in case you’ve got a Linux semi-dedicated hosting with us and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the addresses that you create using any domain hosted in your semi-dedicated account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Each of them will have a small-size "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable the feature will be to click on that icon. In the exact same way you will be able to disable the feature, in case you do not need it anymore. Our system will warn you if you are attempting to activate a 2nd catch-all address for a particular domain name or if there is activated email forwarding, but it’ll never alter or disable any feature automatically or without your permission.
